We are excited to announce that we have been voted Best Animal Hospital and Best Veterinary Services by the Toronto Star Reader’s Choice Awards again this year! Thank you to everyone who voted!
Please note – our clinic will be closed from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm on the second Thursday of every month for team development and enrichment. Thank you for your continued support!
Thank you for your continued support throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
We continue to operate at our full hours and our staff works very hard to ensure that we are available to help any sick animals.
We continue to adhere to the government guidelines, namely providing any services possible with a curbside approach. We have not been reduced to urgent care only, and currently can continue to schedule appointments and surgeries.
We look forward to the days when we can once again have clients in our building!
Please see our current policies below. Thank you and stay safe!
- Clients are not permitted inside the clinic, with the exception of appointments for humane euthanasia.
- We have a patient transfer area where clients are able to leash their dog or place their cat or other small creature’s carrier. There is a table beside the clinic door for the drop-off and pick-up of foods and medications.
- Payments will continue to be done over the phone whenever possible. We do have a wireless payment terminal, however, payments over the phone are preferred.
- Your pet’s veterinarian will discuss everything with you over the phone, and they are happy to answer any questions you may have.
To help prepare them for your pet’s appointment, please submit this form in advance if you are able.
* We continue to do our best to assist you in a timely manner. Thank you so much for your continued patience with potentially longer hold and wait times.
If you would like to book an appointment, please call our hospital directly at 416-690-4040. We are experiencing a higher than normal call and email volume, and do appreciate your patience during this time.
You voted – and we WON!
Happy Holidays from Beaches Animal Hospital and our amazing patients!
Mollie came into our lives in October 2021, and we’ve had such a lovely fall and winter with our puppy girl. We adore her; she brings so much joy and cheerfulness to our lives. We’re looking forward to many happy years with Mollie by our side.
Polaris likes to play hard to get, but really, he loves to love because companionship is kinda his thing. His tail is always wagging, and his face visibly smiling, especially when he gets to be in the presence of his humans.
Benny was a rescue pup from homeward bound rescue. We fostered Benny for a number of months and then decided he could not leave our family. Benz got much help from the doctors at Beaches animal hospital while he was being fostered. He had terrible allergies and needed to get fixed. He is doing so well now, loving life, getting three walks a day, and torturing his fur sibling Pierogi. Benny loves to sing. He sings along with us all the time! We love him so much!
Biscuit, Buttercup, & Holly
She is a rescue from Northern Manitoba who we adopted when our honeymoon was covid cancelled. She had suffered injuries, malnutrition and is now living her very best life, and she has added everything to ours. We are looking forward to bringing her to Italy one day. I mean, Gnocchi should see Italy 😉
Protect Your Pet!
We are recommending tick prevention year-round in light of the increase of tick exposure cases, and the risk of tick-borne diseases, even in the winter. We also recommend heartworm prevention from June until November. We are offering 10% off flea and tick medication if a year’s supply is purchased, in addition to the manufacturing company’s rebate offer. We would also like to offer a complimentary heartworm test, or 50% off a 4dx test (testing for heartworm as well as tick-borne diseases) when prevention is purchased for the season. If you have any questions, please call us at 416-690-4040. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you and your furry family member soon!
